S-Point Sylt in Westerland

Casual place with super good food and relaxed atmosphere. During our emergency doctor course, my husband and I came across this casual little bistro by chance, but we were immediately totally impressed by the nice atmosphere and the phenomenal food, so our lunch breaks have been a little longer from now on :-) Since then we have been coming back regularly and recommend it s Point also to all of our friends. Good place with regular pub potential ;-) we look forward to coming back in April !! Greetings from Munich !

Our culinary highlight on the island, cool location, extremely nice and competent staff and a cook who knows his trade. Anyone who can break away from the usual suspects is in good hands here. Thank you for every day in this great restaurant!

Food very tasty as always. Unfortunately the seats inside are far too narrow for today's time.

Very friendly and attentive service. Wine very tasty. We couldn't eat because we hadn't made a reservation. Small point of criticism: the online menu has no prices. You have to be surprised on site. I don't find it so ideal ...

Currywurst and French fries tasted very good. We didn't particularly like the service; in my experience good or moderate depending on the waiter / waitress. Ordered mayo, didn't get it. Currywurst ordered without roasted onions, but both roasted onions received and information that such special requests were "actually" not delivered because it "messed up the kitchen". Anyway, I got a new sausage without fried onions. Must be my lucky day ;-). Obviously a lack of coordination between the waiter (friendly) who took the order and the waitress who brought the order. It can be done better, I think.

Very cozy, very tasty food and very relaxed despite Corona. Great service. Really rewarded.

Was delicious. Ate a currywurst and my wife ordered a salad. It was relatively expensive (currywurst with fries € 12.50 and salad € 10.50) but still very satisfactory. Nice service and a cozy atmosphere are also offered. Highly recommended if you have no problem leaving one or two euros more.

Great and sophisticated dishes. Very versatile, including the unusual beer and wine accompaniment. There is something for every taste. The staff has just the right mix of professionalism, authenticity and friendliness. Had a really great evening at S-Point.

The meal was excellent! As everywhere on Sylt, you have to pay handsome prices for it, in this case it's worth it. We were there with 3 toddlers on a rainy Saturday. We got a table easily, were served in a friendly manner and were completely satisfied. There are a few children's meals, painting supplies and no bad looks when the kids are a little louder. I can fully recommend it!

Such a beautiful place ... Great food, great service and very, very nice staff ???

Food looked great, but unfortunately we are a bit disappointed with the service and the organization. In the high season it is of course difficult to get a seat, but we had called specially in the morning, everything inside was already reserved, but we should just come by at 7.30 p.m., outside there are still tables free, it works. In the end we were there at 7:15 p.m., waited until 7:50 p.m., until we were told - despite several free tables - that we (3 people) would exceed the capacity of the kitchen and they could not promise us that we would get anything to eat at all during the evening.

Relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant in front of the dune with relaxed service and a tried and tested menu including daily supplements. For years, the Galloway sausages with french fries and fish & chips, cod in brick dough, tartar sauce, with side salad and sweet potato fries have topped the hit list. Unfortunately this time we had salty fries and also very spicy sausages. The thirst was quenched with lots of water in the restaurant and more water at home. This time the cod was baked for a long time and not as glassy as usual. Nevertheless, we will be very happy to come back.

We were out with 5 people on Sunday afternoons and got a table. We only had a drink there but the food on the menu sounded very tasty. The service was relaxed and nice. The only criticism: the prices! If you drink or eat more you get rid of more money than in other bistros. On the one hand, this is due to the location and generally to the island of Sylt, so inform in advance and take a close look at the menu (it is not overly expensive, but more expensive than elsewhere) but otherwise it is a very nice little bistro. Although the shop was relatively full, we quickly got a seat. The waitresses were all super nice and you felt really comfortable. We also enjoyed the food very much. We'd love to come back!

Located just before Westerland, this restaurant is a little insider tip. Directly behind the dike, it looks more like a snack and convinces with great cuisine. We had miso butter, pulpo and the tuna salad, everything was excellent. There were also dishes outside the menu (Black Angus flank steak or Iberico) but these were too expensive for us at € 42 per dish. The main menu of the menu is between 14 and 25 € on average, which is also appropriate for this quality. It makes sense to reserve, we got a place, but outside in the nice weather there was nothing to be done. Nevertheless: definitely recommended! Thank you!

A lovely place with friendly staff

This is a lovely, intimate, relaxed place. Very friendly staff, front and back who tolerated our minimal German; extremely well cooked food - we had a beautifully arranged and tasting sausage and mash with beetroot, salad and Parmesan. For mains- fish and chips, beautifully cooked ( not too much fish) with salad too along with the traditional tartare sauce and chips. And, of course, extremely good beer on tap and from the bottle. I thought I'd lost my money belt at the end of the meal, but instead of long faces we were helped in every way. It transpired I'd Left it at the at the Pension in Westetland! ? Minutes before our meal we'd walked along the amazing Sylt coastline to the Nordsee clinic, where I was born 57.3 years ago. Sitting at this lovely place was the perfect way to spend an evening. Very special, and all the Germans there were clearly in the know and having a good time.
